| 1702 Broadway - This is a brick house, covered in stucco to look like stone. It is a Nicholas J. Clayton design from 1888. The house was constructed for John C. League (for whom League City is named). Later, in 1919, Eliza Kempner, widow of Harris Kempner, purchased the house as a residence. |
