.....This image, from around1932 is of an old cotton tractor pulling a 'train' of cotton on trailers down Broadway. The warehouses had incredible Bougainvilleas that bloomed bright purple and red flowers in the summertime. Alas they have all been torn down and replaced with gas stations, a post office, and a judicial center.
