..... Henry Rosenberg lived in this house from the late 1850's till his death in 1893. The building then was the residence for his surviving wife until her death. Later it was a funeral home, apartments, and finally was purchased by the Sealy Smith Foundation and give to the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1990 and restored.
