.....The October, 1885 Sanborn Map shows the buildings and the street was listed as "Av. G or Winnie or Menard E. The left-most building is listed as a tenement building, with a small gap between it and the next building behind the tree as a dress maker's. Next is an undertaker's, and then a boarding house. Visible directly over the boarding house are the two steeples of St. Mary's Cathedral. The building on the right is the L. Heller livery.
