.....Gustav and his brother John lived next door to one another in these elegant houses. Both were partners in the Star Flour Mills of Galveston as well as grain elevator storage facilities. In the book "Galveston in Nineteen Hundred", the Texas Star Flour Mills damage report showed little damage to the mills, and ended with the quote "The Reymershoffers are rich."
