.....The Queen Theatre was a popular movie house on Market Street. This photo was taken in 1926, as the movie playing was "Tin Gods" starring silent star Thomas Meighan. The Queen featured modern conveniences including an "Iced Air" system and adult tickets were 30¢ for the balcony and 40¢ for the lower floor. Children got in for 10¢ and 20¢ respectively. The entry photo below was taken in the same year.
